Meet the founders of Luft – Zach, Kris and Cody.
Back in 2020, after taking stock of the current offerings in LA, we saw a need for a space that prioritized community over sales.
We wanted a space that made every customer feel welcome, whether the seasoned veteran or a new friend who is just starting out, and offered a curated selection of the products from brands with similar ethos.
It's this approach that has established Luft as LA's favorite hang for endurance athletes.

A funny little store named after a funny little hat.
In cycling, “luft” evolved from its literal German meaning of “air” into a slang term for the stylistic lift of a cycling cap.
Since we wanted Luft to be a shop focused on community, style, and culture, it seemed like the perfect fit.
